The interaction with the local communities in each of the countries we visited was very powerful. There were moments when we couldn't contain our emotions.
We spent 24 hours with the Himbas, an African tribe from Namibia, to learn a little about their customs and culture. What an experience!
Staying in a lodge in the middle of a savannah with wild animals nearby was mind-blowing. There was a mix of fear and adrenaline going through our bodies, excited to be able to watch such giant creatures expressing all things from strength, love, protection, fear, and even peace when they were relaxed laying down under the shade.
The quality and diversity of landscapes were unbelievable, especially in Namibia. No place is like the other, and in that remote land you find a little of everything nature has to offer, from desert to ocean, passing through mountains and endless roads. The dunes are so high that climbing them requires courage but most important a friend, so that you can share the beauty of the view together.
Zanzibar is the winner for beaches, it’s such a beautiful island, and very romantic-like. The water is so clear that you don’t need extra tools to spot marine life. Additionally, you can swim with dolphins, for example.
